A supportive community for anyone facing a life-threatening or life altering diagnosis, survivors and their caregivers. We gather to listen, encourage, and pray together. Meetings start Sunday, January 25^th, 2:00-4:00pm in the 3rd/4th grade classroom. Sign up at the Information Desk; see Pastor Steve for details.

All are invited to come out and learn about the basic doctrines of our Christian faith. This 13-week bible study will begin Sunday, January 25^th starting at 1:15pm in the 5th/6th grade classroom. Whether you are new to the faith or a seasoned Christian, this class will help you grow in Christ. If you are interested in helping plan , create and caption our church social media posts, we welcome you to come out to a meeting Wednesday, January 14th after the midweek service in the Junior though room. Our goal is to use social media as a platform to minister to not just the people at our church, but also draw interest from those around us and spread the gospel. Join us Monday, January 5th-Friday, January 9th at 7pm as we gather each night in the Main Sanctuary to pray and seek the Lord. There will be a box at the Information Desk for personal prayer requests which will be prayed for on Thursday evening. There is a wonderful opportunity to bless the infants in our fellowship by serving in the Nursery Ministry. We have opportunities to serve during all main services. Ring in the New Year at CCSFS with our annual NYE event! The event will take place here at the church from 7pm-12am. The theme will be Retro 80’s Laser Nights and we’ll have laser tag, giant jumpers, and classic retro arcade games—family-friendly and glow-ready. The event is also a potluck so please bring your favorite NYE dish to share!

All are invited to engage our community and spread the joy of Christmas as we go out caroling in our local neighborhoods on Saturday, December 20^th from 6-8pm. We will meet at 5:45pm at the church. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Dave

Wear your coziest sweater and join us on Saturday December 20^th for a Christmas girls’ night (ages 18-28). This includes dinner, crafts, time in the Word, worship and sweet fellowship. Bless the residents at Whittier Glen Assisted Living with love, prayer and fellowship on Saturday December 20^th from 12:30-1:30pm. Meet here at the church to caravan over to the facility at 11:30am. All married couples are invited to join us for a “Very Merry Married Christmas” on Saturday, December 13^th at 6pm at CCSFS. This will be a fun-filled and spirit-filled evening including a catered dinner, games, gift exchange, and a special message from our guest speaker, Pastor Bryan Parish. Cost is $20. All single ladies are invited to our “Christmas Cheer” event at the La Posada Assisted Living Center in Whittier on Saturday, December 13^th at 12:30pm. There will be caroling, and other activities for residents. Please sign up at the Information Desk to participate. After, we will have dinner at a local restaurant. Join us for some family fellowship time as we decorate gingerbread houses on Saturday, December 13^th from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
