Fellowship Sunday, December 7^th at 1:00pm in the church foyer, for all those who are involved and those who are interested in the ministry. These are times of encouragement and training in many areas of worship ministry. Come join us. Lunch will be provided.

All Children's Ministry servants including teachers, assistants, helpers, worship leaders, and Resource Room monitors are invited to our annual Appreciation Luncheon for a fun time of food, games, and fellowship on Sunday, December 7^th starting at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Your children are welcome to attend the luncheon with you.  Please RSVP with your coordinator.

Our church will have a prayer/evangelism ez-up at the City of Santa Fe Springs’ tree-lighting ceremony, Saturday, December 6^th, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, offering prayer, the gospel, and snacks. We’ll also help the city with clean-up after the event. If you would like to share the gospel, serve the Lord and the community, join us Saturday evening at Town Center Plaza and look for our ez-up. Join us on Sat, Dec. 6^th at 10:30am for a festive morning filled with inspiration, food, and creativity! Enjoy a heartfelt message from Cecilia Valdez titled “Prepare Him Room", a delicious bowl of pozole, and create your own fresh Christmas wreath to take home. Join the Devoted to One Ministry Thanksgiving Lunch/Outing on Sunday, November 23^rd. Lunch will begin at 1:00 pm at Marie Calendars in Whittier. Immediately after lunch we will meet at the Whittier High School Auditorium for the Whittier Regional Symphony which begins at 3:00pm Admission is free. Must sign up at Information Desk. Children ages 4 years old-6^th grade are invited this year to join us for the Children's Christmas choir that will be performing for our Christmas Eve service on Wednesday, December 24th. All youth (7th-12^th grade) are invited to join us in commemorating Thanksgiving with a game of ultimate frisbee and a picnic at Santa Fe Springs Park on Saturday, November 22^nd from 11:00am - 2:30pm. Join us for the Solace Conference on Saturday, November 22^nd from 9am to 5pm here in the Sanctuary. The Solace Conference will help those who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening or life-altering illness like cancer or diabetes and their caregivers. Pastors and leaders will offer spiritual guidance from Scripture, cancer patients will share inspiring testimonies, and doctors will deliver essential medical insights. Join us Sunday, November 16^th in the Fellowship Hall after each of the morning services for carne asada and chicken tacos and rice and beans for a donation. Our American Heritage Girls Troop will be hosting this event.

We will host a Family Pancake Brunch on Saturday, November 8^th starting at 11:30am. Come out and enjoy pancakes with various toppings to choose from and a fall craft for the family. Beginning Sunday November 2^nd, there will be a coned off space outside the Fellowship Hall for kids to toss a ball around and play after each of the morning services. Parents, we do ask that you please keep an eye on your kids if you allow them to play outside. Due to this area being blocked off, you will not be able to drive completely through the back-alley behind the building, but parking will still be accessible. See Pastor Patrick with any questions.

Daylight Savings Time will begin on Sunday, November 2^nd as we turn our clocks back one hour. Church service hours will reflect the time change.

Shoebox season is here! Open your hearts to sharing the gospel with children around the world. Shoeboxes are available after every service in the foyer and not due back until Sunday, November 23^rd. If you have any questions, please call Dene Molina at (562) 756-0410.

Come be encouraged as we grow in God’s Word together! Our Bible Study is on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm and Thursday mornings at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. The notebooks are available in the bookstore for $10. Childcare is available Thursday mornings for walking-age children and older, along with a homeschool group. We are also looking for additional helpers for childcare—a wonderful way to bless

There are still opportunities to serve and help at the carnival game booths, set up and clean up, sign up at the CCSFS pop-up tent at the event. Enjoy the Trunk or Treat setups, game booths and crafts for the kids. For any questions, please speak with Pastor Dave.

We will begin receiving candy donations for our "Trunk or Treat" outreach event that will take place here at the church on Sunday, October 26^th from 3pm-6pm. More information coming soon, including ways that you can get involved.

All women are invited to a day  at the Shooting Range on Saturday, October 25^th, from 10am-12:30pm, the cost is $50 per person and includes range fees, equipment and ammo.
